Neenah Technical Materials has the technological expertise and manufacturing flexibility to create a proprietary nonwoven formulation that will meet the exact specifications required for your application. We will develop, prototype, test and produce the item -- quality and quantity on demand.

Many of our customers depend on us for specialty nonwovens. Here’s why:

Specialty Nonwovens that can take the heat
Because many of our products are heat and flame resistant, corrosion resistant, dimensionally stable and consistent in weight and thickness uniformity, Neenah Technical Materials are often used in a variety of demanding electrical and thermal insulation products, environmental control media, and more.

Specialty treatments offer unique advantages
Neenah Technical Materials offer unique advantages in electrical and industrial tapes, gasketing and thermal insulation. Non-wicking and hydrophilic treatments are readilly available for these and other applications.

Superior composite constructions
Our uniform, lightweight surfacing veils process well with resins used in the production of composite structures. And, Neenah Technical Materials products provide increased thermal endurance and enhanced physical, electrical and chemical performance. Widely used in electrical components, building structures, and food service applications, they provide structural integrity plus high quality printability.

Exceptional electrical components
As a carrier for thermosetting dielectric resin systems, Neenah Technical Materials also offer a low-cost medium for insulating motors, generators, transformers and reactors. Since Neenah Technical Materials wet-out rapidly and evenly, resin-poor areas are minimized and the possibility of dielectric breakdown is reduced.

Superior strength, structure and dimensional stablilty
When used as a cost-effective alternative for core material in CEM-3 composite laminates for printed circuit boards, our nonwovens result in stronger, flatter boards with smoother surfaces. These structures offer superior resistance to warping and twisting when subjected to high-temperature solder baths. In addition, the chopped strand fiber in our nonwovens enable extremely clean through-hole punching.
